At his request, there were no official celebrations for the 88th birthday of Anguilla’s Revolutionary Leader, Mr. James Ronald Webster. His birthday was on Sunday, March 2, and was observed by a public holiday the following day, Monday.

However, there were a number of privately-organised events on the island which gave members of the public opportunities to reflect on the purpose of the holiday and to enjoy themselves in a manner of their own choosing.

Some of the events are captured above by The Anguillian.
